The bilingual web group and event from Barcelona

We are specialised in online business development and marketing. We are an open group meeting every first monday of the month. Up to 120 people in a relaxed and creative atmosphere. We are an international group from different areas in the Online Business. The event is bilingual in Spanish and English. The mix is about 50/50 depending on the speaker and audience.

The Mini-conferences is visited by 70 – 120 web addicts and online professionals with different backgrounds. This is what we want – bringing together people from the web in a real and friendly environment on a monthly basis. Webbar – About the Event

Webbar is …

  • a monthly organized, free, informal and open Meetup
  • for all Webworker and web interested people in Barcelona and
  • takes place each 1. Monday
  • between 19.00 – 23.00 o´clock
  • in changing and inspiring locations and
  • offers the possibility to do short 5-15 minutes presentations

Our Vision

We do not meet to exchange business cards. We meet to exchange ideas and share good talks with each other while having a beer in a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere after work.

If you want you can talk about online trends, internet or mobile marketing, the web business or geeky stuff – but you don´t have to. Listen to the discussion about Social Media on one side or start talking with the new person on the other table about his life in Barcelona. You decide. Feel welcomed.

The origin of the name comes from the basic characteristics we wanted to express: WebBar = Web + Bar

(1) Web: Web Trends, Online Business, Internet Marketing, …
(2) Bar: Bar (drinks & atmosphere), barrio (community), Barcelona
(3) … webbar or webbar.es could also be a German adjective.

WebBar is round table and meet up organized by Jan Paul Roth and Björn Ühss. We are looking forward to meeting new people.
