Recap 3. WebBar Meetup
First we want to thank all participants for joining us at the 3. WebBar meetup. It was again a nice round and it´s good to see a steady growth in visitors and quality. We have been 18 people from different backgrounds in total and had great talks, met new contacts and shared ideas. People spoke in Spanish, English, Catalan, German and Italian. We doubled the number since last time and want to double it again to about 40 visitors for the next Meetup which will be on Monday, 07th of June. So come again, let us know your feedback and bring your friends.
It was the first time that we invited to hold short 5 slide presentations and some of you already told us that they would like to have more and longer ones. The idea of the short 5-7 Minutes + 1-3 questions presentations was to
a) give the night some topics (to speak about and learn from)
b) offer the opportunity people to present their work, interest or company
c) bring in some dynamics into the group without making the presentations too long. It should be more an warmup for later open discussions in smaller groups than a long one-to-many talk like some other events like Cava&Twitts already doing.
Did you like it? Or do you prefer an open round without presentations? We are happy to hear your opinions – since we want to improve the event for everybody.

Future meetups will be every first monday of the month between 19.30 – 23.00 o´clock.

We are looking for nice locations so we can change the location for time to time. Does anybody knows a good good Bar, Hotel Lounge or Terrace which would work for our informal format?
